Fight•Dance•Music•Community
Capoeira is a dynamic and spectacular art form that draws on Afro-Brazilian music, dance, storytelling, theatre and self-defence.
It grew out of the African people's resistance to transportation and their survival of enslavement in Brazil. From the beginning, capoeira has been about strengthening the body and spirit of the people who practise it, and connecting them to their community.
If you want more than a fitness workout, love music and aren't afraid of a challenge, capoeira could become one of the best parts of your week.
